… venue: Balgriffin, Dublin … Match no. 1 versus St Andrews Of Carlow was played today. A nervy one from a supporters point of view… is an understatement… but, the lads were always ahead in the [...] boots… so you thought the lads had hung up their boots…. Yes the lads of ‘boughal rangers have won the league and the juior cup… but there is more to this amazing story… This Monday at 2pm approximately the lads play Carlow [I believe..] in Balgriffin [beside the old graveyard]. looking for images of ballyboughal looking for the latest happenings in ballyboughal… …computers? I always wondered what they did in this big blue travelling vehicle that sat opposite the village pub…. My curiousity got the better of me…? seamus ennis…. Have you ever seen this man… ? This is the legendary Seamus Ennis. Séamus Ennis was an Uilleann Piper, Folklore and Music Collector, was born on May 5th 1919 in Jamestown, Finglas, which at the time was a rural part of North County Dublin. One of the main streets in Finglas has by popular acclaim been re-named [...] This was the first poker classic to be held in the old school. And only the second poker classic in Ballyboughal so I was hoping that irrespective of money and numbers that a good night would be had by all. It was a great night I must say… But…. Such a night would not have been [...] They say that everybody has at least one good book inside them. Everybody has a story to tell, be it the journey to the shop or their walk in life so far. They got a walk over That said last night they all headed off out on a bus to Ardcath to kick it off. I met the three lads outside the pub just before they headed off. Well done to all [...] … If you thought you were gonna get a football match and a repeat of two weeks ago celebration wise… you *now* are probably gonna be a slight bit upset… The team Ballyboughal were due to play… but they have been given a walk over as the proposed opponents are unable to field a team.
