I dropped by the Pitch and Putt Club this afternoon. Colm and Ronnie and co were working hard at it. Getting ready for the Ruby Cup Celebrations I assume. I had my phone and live streamed this bit of footage. Place looks really well lads. Well done.

Last week Amy Cooney called to my house. Mary, her Mom, runs the Village Montessori. I’m handed an envelope and asked can it be put up on the website.

P: What is it Amy…?

A: Aah the children in the Montessori took part in a sponsored Toddle in aid of Barnardos….

Over the weekend, as reported by The Fingal Independent, Ballyboughal.net was, put simply, hacked.

When that happened we put the weblog into safe mode. Or what we called ‘maintenance mode’.

Why did it happen….? well, put simply, things cost money and take time. This website is no different.

I was talking recently about signing up for the pitch and putt club. It’s €30. For the year. Anyhow…. Yvonne tells me there’s a cup on. So I go to sign up. Booked out. 40 places. Gone. I hear Tommy Cooper. Just like that.
