Last week I was looking for somewhere to go for a bite to eat with ‘her indoors’ as Arthur Daly would have called it. By chance I tried the Seamus Ennis Centre. It was Saturday night and was tipping just after 9pm. They have the gigs on here as usual… but more important they are now doing dinner on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Of course they also do food throughout the day…but at least there is somewhere good food and wholesome to go thats not a night out in Swords.
Credit where it is due. The staff literally couldn’t do enough for us. The food was really good and the wine menu was decent… In that I only mean I wouldn’t have minded a glass of Georges Deboeuf Beaujolais 😉 But apart from from that… absolutely amazing made all the more special by the very nice people who made us both feel so happy for coming along.
Two main courses, a glass of white, a half bottle of red, desert for one, tea and a real cup of coffee was just a little over €50. Now that’s pretty good…
What d’you think….
