Ballyboughal ladies football team enjoyed their first win of the current season with a great 2-7 to 2-2 win over
Robert Emmets.
Knocking them home for boughal were:
Sharon O’Brien with 1-3 , Sally Farrell with 1-2 and Niamh Counihan with 2 points ….
The whole team played very well in the match, but Niamh Authers was the outstanding player of the match
There has been a huge effort been put in with training from the start of the year. Mother nature herself couldn’t stop these ladies, even when it snowed training was still on ….so it is great to see them get a win under their belts
