The Clogherhead Prawn Festival is a weekend festival based around the picturesque fishing village of Clogherhead in Co.Louth. The weekend boasts many fun activities for all ages. Experience the many activities to be enjoyed around the Irish Sea both in and out of the water.
Water displays include power boat racing, kite surfing, on the beach, with rock climbing and pool-diving on the pier among the presence of a range of vessels including the local fleet and other fine vessels. Smash a World Record with participation from everybody required on the beach.
The evening entertainment will boast excellent live music staged in the night zone, which has the Mourne and Cooley Mountains standing majestically in the background. The village will be buzzing with a carnival atmosphere throughout the weekend. The delicious delicacies of locally-caught and freshly cooked seafood will be available for all to sample.
