The Christmas tree lights are being turned on at 7, so the village will be busy. You might want to get there a little earlier. That said, the Fingal Folk Club always promises to be a cracking night and you can head across the road after for a pint.
“She’s an artist who knows exactly who she is and feels no need to give way.” – The Southland Times
2017 has been a year of dreams for this young songwriter. With one of her songs being nominated for the top 10 songs in the MLT Songwriting Awards, winning the title of Southland Entertainer of the Year and most recently the Overall NZ Gold Guitar. But years before this (at age 14) she was placed 3rd on the 2013 season of New Zealand’s Got Talent. She then went on to release her debut album, ‘The Old Oak’, that debuted at number 1 on the NZ Country iTunes Charts and number 3 on the Official NZ Music Charts.
Her unique style has delighted audiences of all shapes and sizes, from the thousands at the Tamworth Country Music Festival Opening Concert to intimate house concerts in her home region, Southland.
