So, at 10:00pm it looked like a rocky start. There was a few familiar faces, some I didn’t know, some Peter hadn’t seen (typically he was late, watching the news!).
Eventually Ted dropped a few notes and people followed (after the typical tuning session and usual banter). Other musicans (not naming Pat!) arrived later. The tunes flowed, the kness tapped, the spoons (banged) and all other instruments fell in line. The banter and crack was great, the Qik video picked up the best (see below), no complaints please, you could have been there, no excuses if you’re from Ballyboughal (o’Connors is closed still!!!!!!)
Seriously it wasn’t sex, drugs and rock n’roll but it was dee, daa dee, daa dee, daa, daaa (toes tap solo) perfect. Great night people had fun. Life ain’t so bad 🙂
