Last nights weekly music session in Kettles Country House was one of the best I’ve been to in the past number of weeks. There was a fantastic turn out with 15 musicians in total. In addition to the usual instruments including all of those belonging to “Kevin the shop” joining us this week was a new Harpist. Sadly/stupidly I never got her name but she was a fantastic harpist and nested nicely with the rest of the gang.
Ted joked about turning the harp on its side so he could play it, which started off the usual banter about how much quicker she was a tuning the harp compared to The shop.
Peter did an excellent version of Oasis -Wonderwall which went down a storm. I got off to a bad start forgetting the opening chord sequence to my first song which broke my trail but managed to pul myself out of it.
Some pictures below from last nights session. I’ve got a few other photos from past sessions which I’ll root out and throw up in another post shortly.
