I mentioned your comment “During that time I wrote a little piece called ‘The Road to Ballyboughal’ which used to be hanging on the wall behind the bar in the old O’Connors.” at the session in O’Connors last Friday.

I was told that song was wrote by member of the Archer family from Ballyboughal.

I’m familiar with “The Road to Ballyboughal” have read it many times while in the bar. I’ll find out tonight (at the session) if it is still there. If not would it be possible to send it over to me adrian[at]segala[dot]com and I’ll ask the bar man to put it back in its rightful place.

I had the honour to attend the Thursday sessions when I was living in Dublin in the early 90s. During that time I wrote a little piece called ‘The Road to Ballyboughal’ which used to be hanging on the wall behind the bar in the old O’Connors.

Does anybody know where it went? Is it still there?
