Our group is a voluntary community based group with a warm welcome to all Parents, grand-parents & childminders. The group takes place on friday morning between 10 & 12 noon.

The cost is €4 per adult with no charge per child (once children are from one family). Children must be supervised at all times please.

The group was set up in 2006 and has been going well over the years with new people joining and coming along each week until their children go to primary school. The aim of the group was to try and help new families of the area become part of the community and meet other parents at the same stage of parenting or with older children to chat and discuss the topics that arise with a new baby, toddler or pre-schooler i.e sleepless nights, Colic, teething, toilet training and the anxiety of letting go when it is time for them to start playschool or montosorri. All toys are provided and we have a nursery rhyme singalong at the end.

Each friday morning we offer the children toast, juice/water, biscuits and on some weeks fruit. The parents have tea/coffee with refreshments such as scones, cakes, biscuits. When occasions such as Halloween, Christmas and Easter come around we have a fancy dress, a visit from santa and an easter egg hunt all enjoyed by both the children and the parents.

So if you have little ones why not join us on friday morning for a chat let the children play and enjoy a hot cuppa handed up to you. See you then :-)
