From what I can gather, almost 40 people took to the road for The Ballyboughal Pitch and Putt Club Annual Day Out.
Meeting at 3pm we took to the Bog O the Ring and The Ring Commons 18 hole Pitch and Putt course. Play commenced at around 3.30pm and after the main competition, a cup of tea and a sandwich later, we returned for the trio scramble. If you are interested money-wise the entire day cost €12. You couldn’t have bought it if you tried 😉
Around 8pm we finished up playing what I can only describe as a beautifully maintained and landscaped course that for some, proved a little tricky at times. I know a few were thinking of nipping off during the cuppa and returning with full intentions of filling in that water 😀
Destination after was O’Connors pub. Lovely sandwiches and food was waiting for us just after the prizes and trophies. Of course an el presidenté day out wouldn’t have been complete without an oul session.
I think I can safely say everyone had an amazing day out and a great evening.
To those who organised it all and to the many amazing people I met. Thank you so very much.
