On a slightly, separate note to the great special offers on at your local Mace in Ballyboughal – last night, The Fingal Folk club had this image as their backdrop as part of their evening.
Originally taken by local photographer Janine Jones it was published here on Ballyboughal.net as last weeks Friday Photo. Local using and supporting local in its most basic format is the subliminal message in there somewhere i’m sure.
Back to business and as a by the way Mace Ballyboughal have a poster noting that they have not passed on the VAT increase on any of their wines on sale in store. They also sell popcorn. 
Which reminds me, there’s a hedgerow walk in Ballyboughal next Friday…. I’ll put a note up next week on that.
