This week is our last performance before the Summer break and we look forward to a great last night with a rousing round the house session.

Concert starts at 8pm sharp and all are welcome. Performers are requested to be at the venue for 7.30pm for preparation & tuning.

The folk club returns Friday 16th September.

In what I can only describe as a historical day in Ballyboughal, The Delaney family, rightly so deserve a standing ovation. Jack noted in a few choice words on behalf of those of us who get to turn up every week that sometimes one needs a captain and Ronnie is ours.

In what I can only describe as a historical day in Ballyboughal, The Delaney family, rightly so deserve a standing ovation. Jack noted in a few choice words on behalf of those of us who get to turn up every week that sometimes one needs a captain and Ronnie is ours.

But it goes a lot further than that… from Jossie on the door, to V Ronnie and Ted at the helm of the music, Noel on lighting and images, Eoin [hat tip to directing media] who records every single gig and to Trish, Yvonne and Niamh who organise the tea. It is phenomenal the hard work and effort that goes into it.

From some Irish dancing, to some really great music, we even had this Seanachaí…

I know the fingal folk club youtube page will have loads of great videos up live soon and of course you can also find them on facebook as well as their website.
