Fair play to the lads in O’Connors pub and a hat tip where it is due. After the Dubs great win on the Sunday and half of Ireland in Coppers, the lads put all pints on at €3.50 for the Monday.

| As far as I am concerned, horses are just tall cows… when it comes to placing a bet on one. That said the O’connors boys are making sure there’s a good show on once again for those who like a flutter. For those not in the know, according to Cheltenham Race Course the dates and times of [...] After popping my head into The Fingal Folk Club [8 - 10pm in the old school opposite the pub], afterwards I walked across the road to the trad sesssion [also every friday riday evening 10pm til late in O'Connors]. And while the darts and banter took place in the bar… I managed to record these little [...] … The sessions returned to O’Connors pub and Ballyboughal officially for the first time in a few years. Great to see. I met Dave O’Connor and some others in search of a good session in Connors on Friday and nabbed this little recording….. Of course the reason it takes place in the first place is all because of [...] Yes folks there’s music coming to this town and Frank Killeen is his name.
