Kevin, that would be local bar keep extraordinaire, is hosting Ballyboughal’s first ever turkey and ham prize giving, super dooper darts tournament. It starts this Friday. 9pm. In O’Connors Pub. Take the door on the right hand side….. and go through to what is now known as the family [...] Some people not from ’round these parts are getting mildly confused about what the name of the pub is…? I thought I’d put it out there and see what you thought…. what should the pub [...] ever been to ballyboughal on a friday night… ever wanted to hear a real trad irish music session…. got a song… got a guitar… got a set of spoons and maybe you want to get involved… simply turn up any Friday from about 8.30pm onwards and say hello to the first person you meet…. I might see [...] playing O' Connors Saturday night music in O’Connors? Yes you heard it here first…. A two piece band….? Mother of God what is the world coming to…?!! Yes the boys called Paddy Go Easy will play in the left hand side – the lounge in the pub this Saturday. Will this be every week…. ? My guess is – [...] I hate them? I don’t even know them. My Father was a blow in. He moved here. My Mother was a blow in. She moved here too. They didn’t tell anyone. Not many people lived here then. Nobody knew they’d moved here.
