so it seems some very intelligent person[s] broke into the garage [one assumes] last night. Today passing by there appeared to be attempts to start a fire at the door of the shop and a decent sized hole big enough for someone to stoop through, in one of the windows.
I maybe a very an old man and im no thick but…. here’s a little logic for intending thieves…? Unless that is you were being held captive by the some of the taliban near ballyboughal and they wanted mace branded food stuffs only or your life….. in which case your smarter than I believe. 
- This is Ballyboughal.
- Its got quiet a small populus.
- The houses are far apart.
- The shop isn’t the cheapest so people only [usually] by the essentials there
- People own credit cards nowadays.
- People usually do the ‘big shop’ in a supermarket
- ….on a Saturday [ask your Mom]
- use a calculator if you wish…. there wouldnt be much money there
So what did you achieve…. assuming that the shop is probably insured and the window will be fixed, of course….
- some people have no job to go to today and wont get paid
- people need to work to feed their family
- some people have no cars or are older and *really need to use that shop
- you made others wonder if the taliban are living in caves near ballyboughal
- those people realise there are no caves near ballyboughal as logically there’s no coastline here and so the taliban are more likely to go to galway and this would be too long of a journey
- you made people realise that maybe you should have read points 1-8 above and armed with that information and an etch a sketch you really didn’t get a whole lot apart from a bad nights sleep
now for something a little more entertaining….
