Photo Friday: Two Spots Café. Boroimhe, Swords

It’s a Sunday and I’m on my tod with the wee one and in need of a mug of coffeeine. Not the spoon of instant in a cup with hot water for €2.50 – I mean the decent stuff. Beans roasted. Ground in front of you. then jammed into one of those machines and brewed so it has some effect for the better on my blood stream.

The light bulb went off in my head as I came out of Airside Retail park and instead of turning right down towards The Pavillions I went straight through towards Boroimhe/ Rivervalley.

There in the wee shopping complex sits Two Spots Café owned, run and managed by the Conville family [Aoife and Séan] who live here in Ballyboughal. Support your locals an’ all that.

Above pictured their very lovely planters that always make me smile.

As a by the by, Aoife was telling me that they do parties where [on this occasion for the younger folk] they come in and make their own personal pizzas, that are then cooked by the chef and eaten by the 14 odd 11 year olds that were about to arrive there. This follows with cup cakes that are also decorated by the gang and all in comes to about [I’m vague on the exact details…] a tenner a head over a two plus hour evening. All the while thats happening, Mom and Dad get to sit back and enjoy a mocha choca latéchino.
